COVID-19 (Coronavirus): Latest Information and Advice for Agency Workers

Following the recent outbreak of the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and in line with our increased healthcare screening procedures, you will need to provide the following information before health clearance is given for your employment. 

Please answer the following: Have you been outside of the UK within the last 14 days passing through or staying in any of the following countries – this includes holidays?

  • Mainland China

  • Thailand

  • Japan

  • Republic of Korea

  • Hong Kong

  • Taiwan

  • Singapore

  • Malaysia or Macau 

  • Iran

  • Cambodia

  • Laos

  • Myanmar

  • Vietnam

  • Northern Italy; anywhere north of Pisa, Florence and Rimini

If YES, please refer to the following: 

Advice to travellers returning from China and specified areas: 

Travellers returning from Wuhan and Hubei Province, China. If you have returned from Wuhan or Hubei Province in the last 30 days: 

  • You must stay indoors and avoid contact with other people for 14 days and call NHS 111 to tell them of your recent travel to the city

 Please follow this advice even if you do not have symptoms of the virus.

 If you get a cough, a high temperature, or you feel short of breath, continue to follow this advice. Do not leave your house.

 Travellers returning from other parts of China and specified areas: 

If you get a cough, high temperature or feel short of breath within 14 days of returning from: 

Other parts of China, including Macao and Hong Kong 

  • Thailand

  • Japan

  • Republic of Korea

  • Taiwan

  • Singapore

  • Malaysia 

You should:

  •  stay indoors and avoid contact with other people, call NHS 111 to tell them of your recent travel
