Immediate start RGN jobs are available in Lichfield, Staffordshire with the British Nursing Association. We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled senior Registered General Nurse (RGN) to join our team.
This role is instrumental in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to clients while providing continual support and training to staff. The ideal candidate has worked in a complex environment before and will work closely with the management team to uphold our standards of care and contribute to the ongoing development of our services.

Direct Collaboration with Management: work directly with the manager to support and maintain high standards of care for our clients.
Flexible Work Schedule: this position requires working 3 days a week, with flexibility needed for visiting client homes to complete documentation for staff working various shifts.
Provide Training and Development: conduct training sessions for staff on critical care areas, including:
Ventilation
PEG, JEG, RIG, and feeding pumps
Tracheostomy care
Suction techniques
Use of cough assist units
Catheter and stoma care
Colostomy management
Medication and diabetes management, including insulin administration
Nebuliser use
Clinical Assessments and Support: perform client clinical person-centred assessments and risk assessments in collaboration with the manager. Visit staff in the field, complete staff competencies, and provide ongoing training and support.
Documentation: ensure all client and staff documentation is up-to-date, comprehensive, and reviewed regularly.
Office Duties: assist with office duties as required by the manager.
Regulatory Compliance: maintain a thorough understanding of CQC regulations and ensure compliance within all aspects of care and documentation.
Requirements:
Certified Registered General Nurse with a current license to practice.
Demonstrable experience in a similar role, with a strong background in clinical assessments and staff training.
Proficiency in computer use.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work flexibly and travel to client homes as needed.
