✨ Here's what you'll do:
Conduct fast and accurate assessments to identify children's mental health needs.
Perform comprehensive mental health assessments, including risk assessments.
Seamlessly refer individuals to appropriate services when necessary.
Act as a gatekeeper according to established procedures.
Provide managerial support and lead the team in the team manager's absence.
Deliver effective interventions to address the immediate needs of children in crisis.
Build strong relationships and provide expert advice on mental health to other services and carers.
Contribute to local and national initiatives that improve service quality.
Supervise and mentor junior staff, helping them develop their skills.
✅ What we're looking for:
A degree or equivalent qualification in Mental Health Nursing.
Demonstrable experience as an RMN with clinical references in paediatric settings.
Valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
A current DBS check.
