Are you an experienced Health Visitor looking for a fulfilling role in London? We have an exciting opportunity that could be perfect just for you. They will lead on key health promotion work such as accident prevention sessions as well as leading on the child health clinics and completing the Integrated Health reviews as required.
Responsibilities
Specialist category: Provide ongoing support to families under the targeted and specialist category, e.g., social disadvantage, disability, teenage mothers, mental health problems, substance misuse, and domestic violence, using appropriate tools and pathways for assessment and containment and referral to specialist support.
Ensure enhanced health visitations are carried out in line with trust guidelines, interpret information and use to plan care.
Develop and review action plans, including clinical and child protection risk assessments using the assessment framework for children and families, and many more.
Qualifications
Active registration with Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC) on part 1 or 2 (Registered Nurse or Midwife) - RHV: Health visitor HV: Health Visitor
Educated to degree level (or equivalent).
Additional health visiting qualification, diploma or degree.
Evidence of continued professional development
Nurse Prescribing qualification
