Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have the following training and certifications: 

• Epilepsy Training: understand how to provide care for individuals with epilepsy, recognising symptoms and knowing how to respond. 

• Oliver McGowan Learning Disability & Autism Training: be equipped to support individuals with learning disabilities and autism, following best practices. 

• Dysphagia & Oral Hygiene Training: ensure safe care for those with swallowing difficulties and maintain their oral health.

We are seeking carers who are:

• Compassionate: you have a natural empathy and genuine care for the people you work with. 

• Experienced: ideally, you have previous experience as a carer and are comfortable working in different care environments. 

• Skilled Communicators: able to engage with patients, their families, and healthcare professionals effectively. 

• Flexible: willing to work in various settings across Somerset, Bath, and Taunton.
