Role: Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) - Dual Qualification (RMN & RSCN)
Location: Chadwell Heath, England
Duration: 3 months, with potential for ongoing agency work and NHS opportunities
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00
Pay Rate: ยฃ25 per hour

Responsibilities: ๐
As a Band 6 CPN, your primary focus will be providing essential nursing care to sick children in their homes through home visits. This crucial role involves central line procedures, venepuncture, oncology care, and daily travel to various locations.
Skills/Experience Required:
Qualified childrenโs nurse RSCN and RMN with at least 2-3 years post-qualification experience.
Central line experience, venepuncture, and oncology expertise.
A valid driver's license and access to personal transportation are essential for this role.
Ability to work safely, meet daily demands, and manage competing pressures.
Provide nursing care to children with short-term/acute nursing needs and those with life-limiting and complex medical conditions.
Support distressed families, including bereavement support.
Actively identify and utilise department and Trust resources.
Develop a working environment that improves health, safety, and security.
Emotional/Mental effort: Maintain daily concentration on patient care planning, work effectively in a busy and unpredictable environment, carry out distressing procedures, and participate in team meetings/debriefings.
Physical effort: Meet the demands of daily activities within the service, possess dexterity, coordination, and necessary advanced skills for nursing procedures.
