Position: Band 2 HCA / Support Worker
Location: Surrey
Job Type: Temporary, with potential for long-term engagements
Pay Rate: Up to £19.00 per hour*
Shift Patterns: Variable, including days, nights, and weekends
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct care to patients within mental health settings.
Support the physical and emotional well-being of patients.
Assist with clinical duties and the monitoring of patient conditions.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement effective patient care plans.
Comply with NHS standards and practices to ensure safe and effective care delivery.
Essential Requirements:
Experience in mental health care settings.
Mandatory training in PMVA (Prevention and Management of Violence and Aggression), Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training in Learning Disability and Autism, and VRT (Violence Reduction Training).
Possession of an NHS SMART card.
Eligibility to work in the NHS.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
